40 DAYS OF LIBERATION PRACTICES
March 5 - April 17, 2025
Preparing for the Lenten Season Beloved Community, Grace and peace to you as we prepare to enter the sacred season of Lent.
This is a time of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and liberation. From March 5th to April 17th, we will journey together through 40 days of Liberation Practices, engaging in daily devotions that will call us into deeper awareness, healing, and transformation.
Lent is often understood as a season of sacrifice, but we also recognize it as a season of reclaiming, shedding what no longer serves us and embracing the practices that bring us closer to God, to ourselves, and to one another.
This year, our Lenten devotionals will guide us in cultivating a faith that is free, just, and rooted in love. Each week, you will receive reflections inviting you to engage in a practice of spiritual liberation, whether through prayer, fasting, acts of justice, or sacred rest.
These practices will help us confront the chains of oppression, both external and internal, and move toward the resurrection promise of new life.
As we embark on this sacred pilgrimage, let us do so with open hearts, ready to be transformed.
May we find strength in our collective journey and joy in the liberation that is ours to claim.
